Varsity Head Coach
PETER NUGNES
For the 2011-2012 season Peter Nugnes takes the helm as the BHS Varsity Head Coach. This is Peter's second year in the program. He was the Head Coach of the BHS JV 2010-2011 season. Mr. Nugnes has coached at all levels of Barnstable Youth Hockey, He was also a former Head Coach for the Neponset Valley League Junior High Team, and the Plymouth Bay State Summer League Junior High Team, and has served on the BYHA Board of Directors as Mite Director, Pee Wee Director, and currently The Girls Director, He works for National Grid, and is a graduate of Barnstable High School.
Varsity Assistant Coach
DAVID LANGFIELD
This is Dave's first year as BHS Varsity Assistant Coach. He has been a Head Coach for Barnstable Youth Hockey Midget Team, Former Head Coach; Bantam, PeeWee, Squirt, Mite, and Mini-Mites, former Assistant Coach with Coach Nugnes at the Junior High level. Works for National Grid, and is a graduate of Barnstable High School
Varsity Assistant Coach
GINA PRATT
This is Gina`s fourth season with the BHS Girls Hockey program. She will be working with Peter Nugnes for a second season, now at the varsity level. Gina is a former player in the Cape Cod Women's Hockey League and also played for the Cape Cod Hurricanes. She works at The Golf Club at Yarmouthport as an assistant to the director. Gina is a graduate of Barnstable High School.
